I would like to compare and contrast the two photos.

In photo 1 we can see a group of people hiking in the mountains. Picture 2 shows a man deep into reading a book.

The most noticeable similarity is that both pictures show people doing leisure activities. And I suppose they enjoy the things they are doing. Another thing the pictures have in common is that both photos were taken outside and they have grass and mountains in the pictures.

As for the differences between these two pictures, I would mention the following: firstly, the first picture shows a group of people, while the second depicts a man who is spending his free time alone. He is involved in reading. We can suppose that the plot is gripping and nothing can distract the man from his activity. Secondly, the first picture doesn't show feelings and emotions as clearly as the second picture does. I've also noticed that the weather in the 2 pictures is different. In the second picture it is sunny whereas in the first picture we can see a cloudy day. I suppose it may rain soon.

I like both pictures because of the special atmosphere. As for me, I would prefer to spend my weekends or holidays in a more active way. Though, reading in a park or in the countryside, looks attractive as well.
